Elaborate detailing and wonderful colors grace this king size Chinese brocade pillow. Once part of a larger bed covering, I left the faded blue/green borders intact. Backed in vintage hemp and linen. Fit for a king indeed.

A Very Good Year

These pillows were hand knit with natural hemp in a darker shade than usually seen. Featuring a bold braid and backed in rustic German grain sack fabric in the same shade. One never knows the exact shading of natural hemps......each crop depends on Mother Nature.

Rare indeed to find enough vintage Japanese katazome fabric for two pillows! A coveted fabric in Japan, the fabric is created by painting with rice paste. Backed with old blue mosquito netting in the same shade......this pair is really pretty!
