TIE DYE



Spring has arrived with vintage Tie Dye
textiles!  Top pair were created from
Japanese mosquito netting in dreamy shades
of blue.  An antique Chinese piece was used
for bottom pair, all backed in ivory netting.

SAKIORI


A Japanese sakiori textile fragment was used
for this richly hued pillow.  More Japanese textiles are 
also shown:  antique fishing net pillow is backed with
a patched sake bag (pair available), green stripe mosquito netting
 alongside another handwoven sakiori.

BASKET OF BLUES


This grouping features a 20" by 20" pair of vintage
Japanese katazome in faded grey, an African pair from
Mali (16" by 22") and another pair of katazome in a
pretty mum pattern (12" by 24").

INDONESIAN SARONG


A rare shade of pink/raspberry, this pair of  20" by 20"
pillows was created from a vintage Indonesian sarong.
Backed in a neutral shade of linen.

JAPANESE KATAZOME


The ancient rice paste technique (katazome) is shown
in these pillows, 20" by 20".  A rare shade of deep 
indigo, not yet faded.  Backed in vintage white linen.

VINTAGE INDONESIAN SARONG


A vintage Indonesian sarong was used to create this pair
of pillows, 22" by 22".  A rare shade of purple, they 
are backed in a neutral shade of linen.
