JAPANESE BORO

A trio of quilted boro pillows cut from an 

antique bedcover feature the crane, a 

Japanese symbol for prosperity.  Shown

sashiko (hand stitching)

LOOKS LIKE SUMMER

Chinese hemp batik is embellished with

antique embroidered trim (20" by 20").

Shown with Japanese katazome pillows,

pink Chinese brocade and just a bit of African!

AFRICAN STRIPES

TIE DYE

Spring has arrived with vintage Tie Dye

textiles!  Top pair were created from

Japanese mosquito netting in dreamy shades

of blue.  An antique Chinese piece was used

for bottom pair, all backed in ivory netting.

CONTRASTS

A hand knit pillow in light toned cotton

is in sharp contrast to the inky indigo throw from

Indonesia.  Indigo pin stripe hemp scarf on back

of chair.
